Miss Phillips, along with Miss Gabor, Miss Pellegrini, and Miss Burns, was arrested for participating in being an accomplice to taking over the radio station KJEM and performing a pirated broadcast. Miss Phillips and the others claim that they are completely innocent and were set up by Mr. Kite. She was brought in and detained, given one phone call, and received bail from Rio Pacheco. She was released the following morning of her arrest.

[being as technologically inept as souji is, it takes him a while to even see the message. he's not the best at paying attention to his cerevice for anything other than standard calls. so all this other stuff? new to him. he saw the prior spam, and automatically chalks it up to being just that.

souji still reads it anyway, his attention caught by the name "mr. kite" more than figuring out that this is about mary. especially since he has no idea was radio stations or pirated broadcasts are. it's a whole lot of jibberish, but he can put two and two together to make out the bits of her name.

...it's all information to be filed away for later, and he'll definitely be asking about this kite person later on. and yes, to souji, that's more important than there being an arrest record at all.]
